Subject: Backup Hearing Aids Larry: I talked with Dr. Beck this morning about the question of back-up hearing aids. She advises there is no specific language but the PSAS handbook allows for provision of back-up aids when clinically indicated. She agrees especially when a vet is visually impaired or blind back-ups should be provided. In her clinic here everyone gets back-ups. She advises she will send out something directing the field to provide back-ups. Tom From: "Belote, Larry R."
